Assalamo Alaykum
Let me start off with the words of Allah about adultery
Quran 17:32 And do not come near adultery, for it is a sin and an evil path.
Allah said "Do not come near adultery" because when you do, it would be easy for satan to finish off his work on you and make you commit it without a qualms. Not even getting near it does Allah forbids, how much more being there already? And to have a relationship outside marriage is just like opening a pathway to adultery..
Al-Tirmidhi 3118, The Prophet (SAW) said, "Whenever a man is alone with a woman the Devil makes a third."
Why Allah forbid us even to come near adultery?
The Prophet said:
"Faith is like garment with which Allah covers whomever He likes. But if he falls in adultery, this garment will be taken off and if he repents He will restore it again.."
Adultery can be done by the tongue, eyes and through desires and thinking...so we must beware always of our deeds, we might fall into one or two of those and to restore what have lost is not that easy, especially if it is the FAITH..satan will fight not to let it return back and only Allah can stop satan....
Adultery can even happen on net without even touching...through our words, thoughts and some watch each other on cam..and that I could say is the worst thing a normal man can do, audzobillah!
And think if you die in that state. The Prophet said those who commit that sin is not a muslim at the moment they are doing it (faith is removed) and imagine where you will be place if you die in the middle of doing that??? Only a Muslim will enter Jannah!
Listen to thy conscience, brothers and sisters. if it is muted then fear Allah because continuous sinning and lack of religiosity muted our conscience and remember Allah passes His guidance through our conscience. The higher level of our eeman is directly proportional to the voice of our conscience.
This inner conscience is what tells the state of the heart of the individual, whether it is alive seeking the truth, or dead, filled with the desires of this worldly life. Lack of religiosity and indulging in sin causes a person to lose one’s conscience, and it can no longer be used as a source of guidance.
“…why then did they not believe with humility? But their hearts became hardened, and Satan made fair seeming to them that which they used to do.” (Quran 6:43)
I would like to finish off this topic with Allah's word in the Quran:-
The Believers, men and women, are protectors one of another: they enjoin what is just, and forbid what is evil: they observe regular prayers, practise regular charity, and obey Allah and His Messenger. On them will Allah pour His mercy: for Allah is Exalted in power, Wise. [Holy Qur'an 9:71]
"Verily those who wish for acts of indecency to be propagated among those who believe, they will have a painful torment in this world and in the hereafter" [Holy Qur'an 24: 19]
And I would like to ask forgiveness if ever I have said something that have hurt any one..and also pray Allah will make us differentiate what is right from wrong and help us facilitate to what is right. May Allah accept this from us. ameen thumma ameen
